Data Selection in web 8.12

I have been experiencing a very weird issue, it’s a simple report were I have external data selection set on template, when I run the report on web and while running I delete the data selection and say ok, <font color="red"> it preserves that data selection, </font> but if I edit the same line, Delete the line and add another line the filter behaves expected manner. This happens only in web in Fat the report is fine. Have anyone faced such issue?? Or can anyone have any idea why this could happen??
Please let me know if you need more formation.
JDE 8.12, DV ES in Windows, PD PY ES in Sun.

• Workaround: Remove null data selection at the template level and provide a wide range to include all companies data.
• Fixed in 8.98.1.2

Report Data Selection is deleted on "List of Values"

• Fixed in Tools Release 8.98.0.5
