Data Dictionary Items

I have created a new data item in the data dictionary. When I use the Data dictionary brower I can see the newly created data item, But when I go to table design and look for the data item I just created, it is not there for use. Can someone tell me what I've done wrong. Thanks in advance.

James,
I suppose, the problem is that your Data Dictionary changes hadn't been deployed to your workstation.
To shortest way to resolve it is to delete "glbltbl", "ddict" and "ddtext" files with extensions ".ddb" and .xdb" under your "b7\pathcode\spec" sub-folder on your workstation.
Log-off OneWorld before you do it and do not be surprised seeing a lot of Just In Time Isntall actions when you log-in again.
Hope, this will resolve your problem.
Good luck,

What's your configuration? Are you a coexistenace with World? If you'r not ,
sometime is simply logoff and logon into OneWorld to activate the changes!

Hi, James
I wonder did you rebuild your Reference file after you added in the new data item ?
Hope this will help .

James,

did you check that you created it with the right Glossary Group? If not,
you won't find it in TDA.
