Cycle Count and Commitment Quantities

We're working on the procedures for cycle counts. I've gone through the manual but have a question. If, for example, we have orders committed for 100 units in location x, during the cycle count if there are only 85 units in that location, will they be able to update the quantity? If so, what happens to the committment amount? Will there be a warning before posting the cycle count?

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to set up a cycle count based on the number of transactions against an item?

Hi,

Don't think system will look for committed qty during cycle count run.
