Custom UBE Errors

When creating a custom UBE, is there a way to write a new error code (defined in the data dictionary, glossary group x) to the JDE log?

Although it doesn't use a DD error code you can use BSFN B0900102 to write your own messages to the JDE logs.

Thank you for your response. We've looked up the BSFN on the KG - it looks like it writes to the the debug log, not the JDE.log. We were able to execute the BSFN locally and saw the results in the debug log, but we're having difficulty running this on the server (AS/400). We would prefer to have these messages write to the JDE.log since we don't want to have debug turned on unless necessary. Is this what you've found as well?

JP,

sorry, haven't tested this on a server myself. Per the documentation it is SUPPOSED to write to the UBE log (look in the PrintQueue directory) when run on a server.
