Hi,
Nothing happens when I press F1 on any field on my video screen.
'Field Sensitive Help' in the Function Key Definitions is set to 'Y' (01 - #FQMRK). My S00EX & S00VL are fine and in place.
Am I missing something?
plz help.

Tom.

You probably need to rebuild the cursor control file, which is done via menu option 7 on menu G9642.

Hi,

Confirm F9620 contains records for dispaly file. If it do not have records for your display file, it will not show help.
If you dont find records goto G9642 and run option 7 for your display file.
Then try again.

Thanks,
Rahul

Did you copy the code in from another JDE program? Make sure you are
passing in the X96CCX.
Have you used STRDBG or JDEDBG and stepped through your program to see
if it is even getting down into the code statements for cursor sensitive
help? The field name on your screen, does the value in positions 3-6
have a matching value in the DD? For example on the P4210 video
(V4210), the field VDDOCO, the DOCO has a DD value.

Jim
All that you have suggested are in place. I checked everything. Its a problem with rebuilding the cursor control file. As suggested by Rahul & Jim I rebuild the cursor control file and the job is done.
Thanks all for your help.
Tom.

Sorry for the intrusion but the cursor sensitive help (F1) doesn't work with display files of 132 columns.
(DDS DSPSIZ(27 132 *DS4)) I copy the P0006A to another program P5506A, change the display size and
the search on the vdco doesn't work anymore!
Did you have any idea to solve the problem?
Thanks a lot,
Vlad.
