Does anyone have any do's and don'ts and/or helpful hints for building the Cross
Reference Reference Facility in OneWorld.
I'm on version Xe.

Thank you.

Mechele,

There have been numerous discussions on this. Try the search feature on the list to review. If you have any specific questions after that, please bring them back :)

Mechele,
The OW's Cross Reference Facility is useful; here there are some tips in building it.
1-be patient
2-avoid running ALL object types at the same time!
3-try to run it after hours
4-the APPL only could take hours to finish!
5-be patient and
6-good luck!

* Turn off logging.
* Run all object types separately
* Run the UBE locally, not on the server.
* You can run the UBE on several workstations concurrently for the
different object types.
* Save all PDFs... look in last column and make sure that they're all
1's.
* Re-run the CRF if any show up as zeros (summarized at the end of the
report), use data selection to filter it.

Won't run on an AS/400 if Central Objects are on the deployment server.

There is an ESU to patch it so that it doesn't write thousands of lines to
your JDE.LOG.
