Creating a \'sandbox\' setup using one server only.

Hi all.

I have done a quick search and have found nothing relevant to setting up JDE Oneworld on one single server. (both DS and ES). I would like to know if this can be done, so that I can test out the XE upgrade process before attempting it on my Prod servers. Has anyone done this before? Any tips or tricks you could pass on would be welcome!

Regards,
Harry

Currently running B7331 sp7.1, Oracle 8.0.5, NT 4 SP4.

Create a new Application Server in OneWorld (Running XE)
Create a new user with OCM to that new Application Server

Downfall, DS needs to be upgraded to XE..

Just to try it we set up OW B7332 on one server which was the enterprise,
deployment and terminal server using SQL7 - it worked perfectly and
speedily. Didn't take it any further but looked a reasonable option for a
small outfit where little development required.
