I am working with a client on EOne 8.0 SP 23. Has anyone encountered the system failing to set the CSTO (Unit Cost Override) flag on the F4211 to "1" when generating a credit from history?
SCENARIO :
Inventory Cost Method at All B/Ps is Weighted Average (02). SELLING B/P cost for the item is $10.00. A separate RETURN B/P for the cost shows $0.00, indicating this particular item has never been returned.
1. Using P4210/P42025, a credit from history is generated. Assume UNCS on original order line is $10.00/ea. CSTO flag = 0.
2. RMA is printed.
3. P4205 "ship" confirmation returns the item to inventory in RETURN B/P.
The CSTO of 0 on the CO line allows SDUNCS to be updated to $0.00; the cost from the RETURN B/P. End result is an Inventory-to-G/L integrity issue because item was recorded to the Cardex with a positive quantity but a $0.00 cost.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
