Copying of report template and PO

I have an existing report template which has a processing option template assigned. I tried to copied the report template and there's an option displayed to copy the PO template as well. I select the option and copied the PO template to a new name. However, when I clicked the OK button, the OW hanged.
This happened to all other pcs too.
In order to continue our stuff, we used another way to performed which is very time consuming. We copy both the report and OP template separately which caused a serious problem. All the mappings and variables are lost. It should be (guess) when we tried to copy, the new report template is still connected to to the old OP template rather than the new one. That's why the mappings and variables are lost.
And from there, we redefined all the mappings and variables again.

Please advice

Thank you

Best regards

I have experienced that same problem at 3 client sites.
It seems to be another Xe "feature".
If anybody has an ESU for this, I too would love to know about it.

In Report Design, under "Report" tab, there is an option to "Select
Processing Option". So try copying the report template without copying the
PO template and then add the PO template to the copied (new) report.

Hi Lisa, (is it correct?)

Please, de[censored] your system configuration as OW Version, SP level etc., making possible for us to help you. Thanks.

Nandan,

If I understood well, their have already tried it.
Generally this method does not work and destroys all references of PO variables in the Event Rules.

Subject: Copying of report template and PO

And from there, we redefined all the mappings and variables again before
continuing our job.

Please help as I really can't figure out another less time consuming method
to perform the task.

Thank you.

Not that I want to post a "me too", but "me too".

I did _not_ have this happen at one of my XE sites,
but it _is_ happening at a diff XE site. The 2nd
site happens to be at "update 2".

And, it's not "slow", it's "locked up".

So, did anyone find an ESU?

By the way,

I'm trying to copy an APPL, not a UBE.
I get "scolded" for "Common File" on the PODA screen.
I've logged it w/JDE, call# 465-0098.
