Copying F0092 From Work to OneWorld

We are currently setting up a new OW ERP 8 installation . We are migrating from World and I was wondering if it is possible to copy the F0092 profiles over from World, I have been told from an outside consultant that this is not recomended , however the file appears to be identical in both World and OneWorld.

I would say, yest, for initial setup you can just copy the data from F0092 in World to OneWorld. However, there is more user setup that needs to be done afterwards. You need to setup environments - again, the same file, but you will probably have different environment names - use SQL to change and then you have to setup User Security, which is what takes the longest. User Security includes the database user/password and the user password. These need to be manually entered.

If you are going to a Solution Explorer, then there is even more user setup required, associating users to roles and setting up SE security to get fast path for SE.
