I am hoping someone can direct me to some documents to accomplish the
following task

======================
OneWorld XE, SP14.1
Windows 2000, SQL 7
======================

We do not have anything in production yet and have been working primarily in
PY7333. The data in PY7333 needs to be cleaned up to get it ready to move
into production. The consultant that we are working with suggested that we
wipe out all of the JDE test data in our test environment, TS7333 and copy
over the existing data from PY7333 to TS7333. Then only have a select group
log onto PY7333 to get it ready for production while the others log into
TS7333. This would allow the users logging into TS7333 to learn OneWorld
while using our company data.

From what I know PY7333 and TS733 share the same path code but the
difference is that the data sources for Business Data - TEST and Control
Tables - TEST point to the JDE_DEVELOPMENT database.

So I think what I'm looking for is a way to copy Business Data - CRP and
Control Tables - CRP to Business Data - TEST and Control Tables - TEST.

Thanks for any help

Hi

You can use the UBE R98403 to copy from one Data Source to Other Data
Source

Larry :

On OneWorld B7331 and B7332 the fastest (and safest) way to accomplish
that was to run a couple of versions of UBE98403.
I don't know if that UBE still works on Xe...
Anyway, you may also use SQL's DTS to copy data from JDE_CRP database
to JDE_DEVELOPMENT (be aware that you'll have to copy CRPCTL tables
first, and after that CRPDTA tables).

Yours, Sebastian

Larry,
If you were using the Forum, you were able to choose from:
a - looking into the archives for the R98403 topic and download a nice, JDE attached document, I did post, few weeks ago,
b - Having the document sent to you, as an attachment, by me
As far as I know, only the Forum has the attach document feature available ;)

Make a copy of R98403/XJDE0021, change From & To in PO to reflect your data
sources and run this version Locally.

Thanks Adrian

After reading the response from my post, this seems to be an easy thing to do. I would like the document you mentioned. Please email me the attachment.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the help. I have been able to get better support here than with my JDE support contract.

I thought I would pass this along in case someone else had the same problem. I ran UBE R98403 version XJDE0021 at the suggestion some of you had given me. In the mean time I did have a support call logged with JDE. The problem I was having was I kept getting an error listed in my status column. I had chosen all the right processing options but still got these error's each time I ran the UBE. I thought it would be a good idea to review my event logs on my enterprise server and that's where I found the problem. My SQL transation log file was set to low and to restrict growth. I adjusted the size of the transaction log and ran the UBE again. This time with success.

Thanks

Adrian-
I tried unsuccessfully to obtain the document attachment that you described, even from the Forum. If possible, please repost the attachment or send it to me directly:
