What is the downside to running Co-Existence with XE at World 7.3.10?

None if you load the required PTF that loads the CUM 12 objects
needed for coexistence.

You need to apply the Y2K CUMs separately.

What Y2K CUMs? Like everyone, we had to apply a bunch of Y2K SARs and Updates 1 and 2. Are there more???

We are CUM 11 and will be applying CUM12.
The reasons we decided to go ahead with CUM12 are:
1. It is recommened by JDE and if something does go wrong and you are not at the recommended release theey can be very standoffish on support calls.
2. In addition you must apply PTFS X1 through X3 for co-existance if you are not at CUM12 there is an additional CUM to apply, the number excapes me at the moment.
We figured we just might as well do CUM12 X1, X2, X3 as remain on CUM11 apply the special one, plus X1, X2, X3.
We are in the process of setting up for co-existance, so this will not be our final configuration, but following is what we have so far:
Deployment Server- Compaq running WIN2000. Central Objects located here.
Enterprise Server- AS400 at CUM12 with X3. V4R5 The machine is a 620 114 CPW- TEST.
Web Server- AS400 Websphere 3.5.3 V4R5 The machine is a 740 480CPW per CPU. The TEST LPAR has 2 CPU.
Our development clients are Thinkpads with WIN2000, about 40 gig, 800 MHZ with 256RAM.
If all goes well we will deploy to our production AS400 machines which are partitioned 830/840s.
