Citrix \'master\' server

Hi List,

Has anyone used a 'master' machine in a Citrix farm ?

We have a machine that is the 'Citrix Master', it is NOT a node in the farm
and seems to only house a small SQLServer database with the Citrix XP
configuration on it - has anyone else using this configuration?

Andy,

See this FAQ to understand what one is and why a Dedicated Master Browser would be used.

In general having a dedicated master browser improves initial connection times. There are other benefits around disaster recovery. Whenever possible I like to have one in my farms. It doesn't have to be a fancy box and it should not do anything else except sit there and be a master browser.
