Citrix Client to Server Content Redirection

Many of us have perhaps faced the challenge of workflow messages that are sent using external email to an email client on a users PC thazt tries to use the shortcut to launch (windows) JDE but fails because JDE is on Citrix. There really was not anything to ersolve this in the past other than trying to get email on the Citrix server or JDE on a FAT client - but recent Citrix metaframe has the 'Client to Server content Redirection' - has anyone been able to use this to successfully make an email client on a PC launch JDE through the shortcut on Citrix ?

Actually, this has been done for years. There is a JDE whitepaper out there - OTT-02-0053 - note, it was written in 2002 - that talks about setting up windows client workflow shortcuts with a citrix server using "Client to Server content Redirection".

You should find that document on the knowledge garden and other resources...
