Changing Subnets

Hi Folks,

We are running OW B732 SP 12.3, AS/400 Ent Server, NT 4 Depl Server.

We plan to move all of our servers to a new subnet, and I wanted to
check if anyone who may have done this has run into anything unexpected,
or has any tips with JDE systems. From what I can see, most references
(e.g. jde.ini files) are to machine names, which will stay the same.
I'm not a 400 guy, we have a couple of them here, but I believe that the
One World services on the 400 would need to be configured for the new IP
address.

Any other tips?

Thanks,

David :

a) Check that HOSTS files (if you use them) point to the new IP addresses
b) If you use WINS, check that it doesn't contain any old IP entries.
c) The same for DNS.
