Calculate the difference between two dates

Using a World Writer, how can I calculate the difference between two JDE dates when one of the dates crosses into a new year? Same year...no problem.

I replied to Sharon directly with an attachment with 2 examples on how
to do this.
One using Showcase to create a file to be use with the JDE files and
date fields in a World Writer and the other one if using World Writer
totally.
If anyone would like this word doc, send me an email direct and I will
