Bogus available inventory

Hi all,

We are implementing MRP and our biggest challenge has been the inventory when reviewing messages. We have many customized apps and are trying to minimize any disruption to daily business while we are working through this transition.

We have sales orders that have Lots assigned to them while the said Lots are showing in the Available and SO Hard Commit buckets. This shows this way upon completing the work order and it is not relieved from inventory until it is Ship Confirmed.

Would the Branch Plant Constants be the place to start? if so, are changes to the Branch Plant Constants system wide or just in the environment that the change is made?

Any help would be appreciated.

there is an item availability setting in the branch plant constants that you can select items to subtract from available inventory.
