BI Publisher RD bursting leaving tmp files on AS400

We found BIP is leaving many .tmp files in the /tmp directory on our AS400. A case was opened with Oracle and they opened a bug (22143938). I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue and whether they have a workaround in place.

Edit: The issue is occurring with E9.1 TR9.1.4.5 and AS400 7.1 Fix Pack 11
