Hi Everyone!

I have a branch plant configured with Commitment Days = 7

I'm facing an issue on sales-order and related backorder: An order is placed and in backorder - then if the user edit the sales order, setting as request date a future date over 7 days from the day of the update, the backorder disappear and the quantity become available. The backorder is manteined only if the request date is changed and set within 7 days , otherwise backorder is lost and quantity become available.

Example:
Today: 04 February

Request date: 5 february
Order: backorder

if the request date is changed to 14 February, the order lost the backorder, and quantity become available - is 14 february is over 7 days from today.

Is this behavior normal? there's no way to keep the backorder also if the request date is set after 7 days?
Thank you!!

Yes, that is normal.

If an order line has a Scheduled Pick Date (PDDJ) more than 7 days from today date, the line is placed on future commitment, no back order will be created.

There's any process that can be executed to set it as backorder when the Scheduled Pick Date fall into the 7 days ? Otherwise we will not see quantity as "Backorder" also if falling in the 7 days..

Run UBE R42995, with blank on processing option: 1. Bypass Recommitting Future Orders
