B7332 compliant with V5RxMx ?

Hi everybody,

We plan to migrate our JDE B733 SP11 CUM 2 currently running on OS/400 V4R4MO and I have sereval questions regarding this operation :





* Does our current JDE system is « compliant » to run on OS/400 V5RxMx ?
* If not which Service Pack do we have to apply on JDE ? Do we have to apply some ESU and/or CUM ?
* If yes can you precise which one(s)
* Indicate how long should it take to make the technical part of the migration.

We have an instance of B733.2 with service pack 21_H1 running on V5R3 successfully.

I'm sure it's not an approved O/S level but it's working without any problems so we are using it.

V5R2 support begins with SP21_I1.
V5R3 support begins SP23
V5R4 support begins SP23_L2

You will have to be careful as midway through SP22 they changed the F98OWSEC encryption, for Xe and ERP8 you need to install an ESU that lets Administrators change passwords. via the P98OWSEC appl. Not sure if that ESU's are also available in B7332.

* Indicate how long should it take to make the technical part of the migration.

Depends on how you plan to migrate its an open ended question.
