Autoexec.bat modifications

Has anyone seen this on Fat Client Win95/98 installs? The install program modifies the autoexec and puts a path statement in for the environment and system, for example: SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\B7\DV7333\bin32;C:\B7\system\bin32. On some of our PCs during a new install or a package deployment, these Xe Path statements are put into the wrong SET statement. We are running Novell, and one of the entries in the autoexec.bat is SET NWLANGUAGE=ENGLISH. After we do the install, this may say SET NWLANGUAGE=C:\B7\DV7333\bin32;C:\B7\system\bin32. This hoses up starting the PC.

For best results do not use anything but NT or Windows 2000, look on the KG
for MTR for workstations.

Re: RE: Autoexec.bat modifications

Thanks, we are slowing migrating off of Win98. I just got a call back from JDE and this is a reported problem when using Novell and they don't have a fix for it yet :-(
