I would welcome observations from those of you who use ASNA's Visual RPG.
- Comments on AVR's (ASNA Visual RPG) interface with JDE (active data
dictionary, UDCs, etc)
- AVR modification of JDE RPG code? /COPY etc.
- When you need to customize a JDE-vanilla RPG program, do you do mods on
the AS/400 in RPG, or do you rewrite it in AVR in the AVR environment?
I can see using AVR to develop Windows-based programs that access AS/400
data, but I am not sure of the cost/benefit of rewriting existing JDE
programs in AVR.
