We are testing it. OneWorld Xe SP15 AS400 V4R5, JAS SP15, Websphere 3.5.4. Not live yet, still setting OneWorld Xe up and converting World Reports and other apps. We're testing using the HTML interface because it is getting better response time than Java. Setting up is pretty straightforward once you figure out what JDE left out of the manual. Once setup, you have to 'generate' serialized objects for all the menus, reports, apps, etc. This can be time consuming and take hours because it is like a full package build looking at all the objects. Once it is done, you only need to generate for any new apps or menus you put into Xe.
As far as speed, we have a model 730 with 1gig RAM and response times are ok. We ipl each night, so the first person who uses the interface takes a hit because Websphere needs to load all the stuff into memory and cache. It can take over a minute to bring up the logon page and then a minute to bring up the menus. The response times get better as more people use the HTML interface. gm.

I would like to know if any of you are using AS400 as a OneWorld Web Server
and what is your experience? Also, any comments about AS400 vs Sun would be
great.
