Anyone Using Imaging and Scanning inside JDE (workflow) with Accounts Payable

We are looking to start imaging & scanning our Accounts Payable invoices and would like to use JDE workflow and other applications to make this possible. Has anyone tried to accomplish this task and what obstacles did you have to overcome? If you used 3rd party software which one would you recommend. If you used JDE what all did you have to implement to make this functionality work inside JDE.
