Allow UTB via Citrix clients??

Hello!

We have members of a roll-out team who would like to be able to use the UTB. They only have access to thin clients.

OneWorld doesn't allow you to run UTB over a thin client. Is there a way to get around this, or is there a compelling reason not to try ?

Cheers,

Steve,
check other threads on this topic using the search function on the the forum.
in any case, create a local NT group on the wts called owdeveloper and add the user profiles to it. this will allow users to get into utb as well as a bunch of other tools. pretty dangerous for regular users since there is only one set of specs on the wts for all users.

Dave,

How does creating that local owdeveloper group allow you to open up UTB via WTS??? Is there some 'link' within OW that ties UTB and that particular group together??? Thanks.

Hi Ryan,
Sorry this reply is so late; been out of touch for the last week or so. in any case, there is code in one world that checks to see if the user is in the local nt group OWDEVELOPER. if so, it then allows you to use tools (including the utb) on the wts.
