advanced pricing

Hello folks,

We are in the crp stage of our project - OW SP16.1 Update 3
NT platform.

We are trying to set up advanced pricing for sales orders
that will allow us to apply a different adjustment schedule
according to a doc type. so far we have had no success.

The reason we need to do this is to price our service type
shipments by the type of service. for example, if we have
a 1 day shipment vs a 3 day shipment for the same item and
same customer.

does anyone have any ideas how we could accomlpish this?

thanks

what you could is use one of the fields in the sales order line to mark =
an
order line according to the service type. Fields like 'end use' or the =
3
price codes are also available in advanced pricing.
So you can drive advanced pricing based upon the values in these =
fields.

Hi Sande,

I take it that the order type is manually selected by the order entry staff, based on the service level. If this is the case you probably do not need to create new schedules. Instead you can create an adjustment within your schedule based on an "order detail group". The order detail group itself can be based on order type (very last option in P4092).

If you wish to maintain the same order type for all (like) orders, you may wish to use price codes and/or review the preferences available.

Sande,
Try Preferences (menu G4231). Use the Schedule Preference. Are you familiar
with it? Let me know.

Why use doc type to determine adjustment schedule. I would setup two items: 1dayshipment and 3dayshipment and add a new line to the order.
