Acrobat problem with signature font

Has anyone printed a signature on A/P checks in One World. I am trying to print a signature on A/P Checks in One World using a Dimm Chip signature font.
In designer, I have tried adding both a variable or a string with the required specified character to print the signature. I am able to select properties on that object and select the signature font which is installed on my machine and visible in Designer. I can save it in OneWorld. When Acrobat reader tries to display the report, it I get message boxes "There was an error processing a page. "There was a problem reading this document(14)" "Could not find font in Resource dictionary -using Helvetica instead." Then Acrobat blanks out the entire report.
Thanks,

We've printed a sig on checks, but not w/in OW. We are using a third part
software called formscape to do the check design. It makes checks look so
much better. If you want their web addy, let me know. As for the other,
didn't know it was possible.

As Jeremy stated the way this is universally handled is via third party forms management software. You may be able to make your approach work but thats a hard way to go ;)
