AAI ERROR

Has anyone come across an error message stating Distribution AAI Number 1 Invalid. I'm not sure how to fix this I have gotten this error more than once and on more than one screen. I do know that there is no AAI number 1. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a tricky one. We received this on a couple of occasions. Once when we were receiving and it had a price variance. We didn't have a variance account set up for that particular B/P. If you get this for Purchasing be cautious, the AAI that the message references isn't always the correct AAI (per JDE help desk). Check to make sure that whatever process you're performing is set up with all the AAIs and variance accounts in place and you should be out of the woods.

If you are receiving this error when Update Customer Sales (R42800) is
executed. Check the sequence for the version; this is usually caused by
the sequence being by Document Number (Invoice Number) when no Document
Number exists for multiple orders. Try changing the sequence to be by
Document Number (Order Number), submit the specs only and execute the job
again.
