Greetings,
A while back we had a Work order spring up on us with a number 0 (zero). I when around trying to figure out HOW this happened and couldn't. It could not be keyed by anything I tested. So I just deleted the record and moved on.
We got it again. This time it is a Doc type of NP. (which we use in the ECO process it stands for new product)
Like last time there is an attached BOM and Routing. All 3 files have 0 (Zero) for the document number and NP for the Document Type.
This really messes up sales orders because we do not attach work orders to sales orders. When somone trys to delete a sales order it will not allow it because the work order number on the sales order is blank.
Anyone have any ideas on where this could be comming from?
I can not even tell if this is a Legitamit record. It looks correct but no-one remembers seeing it as another number.
The time stamp on the records have the Manufacturing accounting program in them so that is of no help.
