Hi List,
I have 2 screens which look and feel like the UDC application. A
find/browse, which flows through into an editable grid. When the enter key
is pressed on the UDC screen whilst focussed on the grid, it behaves like
the tab key, but for my application it presses the find button. This causes
all entered records to be erased!
I assumed the ficus was automatically being set to the find button, so
entered ER to set the focus on the grid after form initialisation, now the
situation is better, the enter key behaves like the tab key if the data
entry line is complete, but if it is half finished, it still presses the
find key wiping out the data!!!
anyone any ideas about default buttons, or what I should set the focus to?
The UDC program doesn't set the focus anywhere and works perfectly??
