Viewing reports by multiple users

We are implementing JDE XE 7333 and are struggling with how multiple users can view reports. We are going to have some manufacturing reports run overnight and need a way to distribute to multiple users or put them in a central location for all to access. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

If the reports are run on the server the reports are view through submitted
jobs. Anyone can type the name of the userid that submitted the job, click
find, and view the report. That is the simplest way, it may not be what you
want for long term but for the short term it is an easy answer.

Hi Matte

You may want to consider emailing the PDF file to all concerned users. When
you access the report for viewing in Fat client, the same is transferred to
sub-directory "PrintQueue" in JDE home directory (usually it is B7). If you
are using Java/HTML, when report is opened in browser for viewing, Acrobat
gives you an option to save it to another location. Once saved, this can
then be emailed to multiple persons.

You can add the following setting in the jde.ini file on selected clients :-

[NETWORK QUEUE SETTINGS]
OutputDirectory=f:\

The folder PrintQueue is created automatically when either a UBE is run
locally or a server job is accessed via acrobat.

We have done some research into something similar and there are 2 software products that are JDE-certified for report distribution- FormScape and OptiDocs.
