UPC numbers

Hi, we are currently implementing Xe without the transportation module. Among several EDI transactions, the outbound ASN is providing quite a challenge. We are finding that a number of the fields will not be populated because of the absence of the transportation module.

We will be entering the UPC and SCC information on the item master. Can anyone tell me how to get the UPC number on the F470371 record without the transportation module?

I have always seen it a choice of lesser evils. Either modify JDE so that
you can track UPC, SCC, and the SSCC numbers on shipments, or use (at least
partially) the transportation module. I have found that keeping the SSCC
numbers tied to the correct packs/pallets to be the tougher part then the
UPC/SCC's.

I do not know of a way to do it without Mod's and without Transportation. I
tend to set up very limited transportation and use that.
