Does anybody know how to "hide" text constants in a report depending upon a certain condition. I do not want to hide them so much as I want to supress their write to the report. I do want blank space printing on the report if the constant is not to be shown.

Currently, when I use the Hide system function the constant does not show up but it takes up a line on my report which I need removed due to formatting considerations. Thank you in advance.

Hi Mike,

I have 2 tips, maybe could work.
1.) Use variable instead of constant and fill it with value or blank depending upon your conditions.
2.) Put any blank report element in the same line (e.g. blank constans or blank report variable) and do not hide it. Hopefully it will keep your line in place.

Please, let me know if it works.
