Knut,
in my view, a better option to changing the "Current Period" value each
period is to leave this field blank so that the effective date of the
FASTR is driven by the Financial Reporting Date for the company (or
companies concerned). This is a parameter rather like (but independent
of) the G/L, AP and AR dates for each company and should be centrally
controlled by a suitable administrator.
This default also works in some of the Financial DREAM Writers.
