I normally set the Security Server Kernel to autostart
and have found that doing this can clear up some
problems.

In the Enterprise Server jde.ini:

Thank you. We are testing prestart of the security kernel now. Prior to
SP13.3 we did not prestart the security kernel and had no problems. I am
still concerned that it is a bug in the service pack.
