Here would be a good example of changing the QSTRUP startup program. Be
sure to compile to a library (perhaps QGPL) and not QSYS.

MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000)
B733SYS/CLRIPC
MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000)
QSYS/DLYJOB DLY(10)
MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000)
B7333SYS/STRNET

You could also start TCP/IP and Host Servers in you startup program.
