R007021 Integrity Report - Batch Header (F0011) Posted / Detail (F0911) Unposted

The R007021 Integrity report is showing up a multitude of different batch types being unposted .
The error message is “Batch Header (F0011) Posted / Detail (F0911) Unposted” – basically the detail is not posting into the G/L, but the batch header is coming up as posted.
To fix, I simply reset the batch header, and change the batch status from Posted to Pending and then approve. Finally I repost using the Batch Posting programs (R09801).
There are never any error messages when I re-post – they simply post correctly again, but this time the detail does get pushed into the GL.
We are scratching our heads as to what is causing the issue. A couple of our theories are:

  1. We recently changed the scheduling of batch posting programs from once a day to 3 times daily. Is it possible that there is something such as the Posting flags on the F0011 being set with an incorrect flag i.e. ICBAL/ICBALJ/ICPOB. When we looked at some of the lines “in error” there seemed to be a pattern in here that the incorrect lines had an N in either ICBAL or ICBALJ. I am not sure if by resetting the batch header, that this changes these back to a Y, because I am able to correctly post these with no issues once I reset the header. Are we running the scheduling too often or is this normal for E1?

  2. Another potential cause – we have 3 global sites using separate company numbers on E1. Can a site e.g. US staff post all batches including European sites batches? Or could this lead to security issues and thus prevent batches from posting. This is not very likely as normally this happens perfectly well on a regular basis with no issues.

Any thoughts please? - Thanks very much

desmcauley,

My thoughts:

Firstly, check to make sure that the f0902 is in synch with f0911. It could be that the f0902 is being updated and the posted flag not set in the f0911. If so, when you repost, the f0902 would be updated again.

Secondly, check the security of the users who post these batches, do they have access to all the accounts etc. in the batch?

If you can record the debug logs for one such scenario may be we can decode the pattern.
Mostly, such issues are related to security.

Batch Header (F0011) Posted / Header (F03B13) Unposted

Hi Team,
Please post my question for the below issue (Urgent) , I have no idea about to use this JDElist webpage (where to go for asking questions & submit) , please submit this below issue to public , Let me know the solution for this problem. Thanks in Advance to JDElist team.
---------Issue description-----------------
we have posted a BatchType('RB') which contains of 10 Records(were DocType: "RI" and "RU") and ran the Report (R007021). I had error message as "Batch Header (F0011) Posted / Header (F03B13) Unposted"...

My action::I’ve tries changing the batch status to ‘A’ and reposting the batch but it still, I getting same error as Batch Header (F0011) Posted / Header (F03B13) Unposted".

I verified F03B13 for this batch status was( 9 Records Posted, '1' Record alone not been posted). That '1' Record whose Post code: Unpost i.e: Blank. Let me know the solution for this Issue ASAP. Thanks in Advance.
Note: This unposted Record DocType: "RU" and pay status"A" . Yet to pay. In F09011/F03B14 no Record found for this "1" Record alone, Remaining "9" Records of this Batch got posted. Currently, F03B13 & F03B11 In this both the table "1" Record status was posted.

Saravanan,

Some questions:

1) Was there an error in the post run?
2) What is on the R09801 report? Was there an R09801E produced?
3) Is there anything in the work centre for the user who posted it?

It is virtually impossible to provide the solution, without knowing what caused the problem.
