The R007021 Integrity report is showing up a multitude of different batch types being unposted .
The error message is “Batch Header (F0011) Posted / Detail (F0911) Unposted” – basically the detail is not posting into the G/L, but the batch header is coming up as posted.
To fix, I simply reset the batch header, and change the batch status from Posted to Pending and then approve. Finally I repost using the Batch Posting programs (R09801).
There are never any error messages when I re-post – they simply post correctly again, but this time the detail does get pushed into the GL.
We are scratching our heads as to what is causing the issue. A couple of our theories are:

We are scratching our heads as to what is causing the issue. A couple of our theories are:
- We recently changed the scheduling of batch posting programs from once a day to 3 times daily. Is it possible that there is something such as the Posting flags on the F0011 being set with an incorrect flag i.e. ICBAL/ICBALJ/ICPOB. When we looked at some of the lines “in error” there seemed to be a pattern in here that the incorrect lines had an N in either ICBAL or ICBALJ. I am not sure if by resetting the batch header, that this changes these back to a Y, because I am able to correctly post these with no issues once I reset the header. Are we running the scheduling too often or is this normal for E1?
- Another potential cause – we have 3 global sites using separate company numbers on E1. Can a site e.g. US staff post all batches including European sites batches? Or could this lead to security issues and thus prevent batches from posting. This is not very likely as normally this happens perfectly well on a regular basis with no issues.
