P43101, Default Supplier of the item doesn\'t appear

In P43101 we enter an item number and go down on the next line. The default
supplier of the item in F4102 doesn't appear. Is it normal ?

Yes, the main use of the default supplier is in PO Generator, where you can
inquire by supplier and it will
bring up all the items that supplier supplies. It doesn't automatically
populate in PO Entry, so I doubt it does anything automatically in the PO
Workbench.
