We have multiple manufacturing BU's who are all storing their finished goods inventory in a common warehouse BU.
JDE does not have any standard functionality for this and advise that it could be possible by customization. Will appreciate if someone can throw some light on how the process could be customized.
The manufacturing BU's receive, issue to production and complete the work orders for the finished goods. Inventory is committed at the time of SO entry.Then finished goods are then moved to the warehouse BU. Our requirement that each BU should be able to track the availability of their finished goods in the warehouse BU. Shipment confirmation and invoices raised from the warehouse BU should be able to hit Account Receivable of the manufacturing BU. Can this be possible and what would be the process.
