Item and Customer Groups

Hi!

We have some Items that we need to sell only to some
type of stores. We have regroup stores as a Customer
Group.
Ex: Item 'Bottle of Coke 12 oz' can be sell to
groceries and corner stores but not to Gaz stations.
We setup the customers in the customers group(With
Advanced Pricing).

Any way to setup my items to prevent them to be sold
to the wrong customer groups?

Thanks!

Eric

You mean you don't want to use the Item Restrictions and setup every allowed
combination of customer number and item number?

You bet you can do this with groups! One of my alltime favorites.

Use the mandatory adjustment feature of advanced pricing. Setup a mandatory
adjustment with zero price, and setup details to allow the combinations you
want to allow (item group/customer group).

If you need more help, email me directly, and I'll send you a helpful link.

In the customer master, you do have the ability to restrict items sold to
specific customers. But this is at the customer level and not the customer
group level.
