Interface between 9.0 and UPS WorldShip for shipment charges

We are using E1 9.0 and ship a significant volume to our customers via UPS. Instead of attempting to keep E1 rates and routes updated for UPS rates, we plan on using the billable and payable rates from Worldship. We would like to bring them in by shipment number and store them, then have R4981 Freight Update access them to push them to the sales order and the payable tables.

Has anyone attempted this interface and how did you do it?
