Hi

(B7331, SP11.1, SQL7)

I want to design a form that has multiple memo fields on the form so that
typists can belt a lot of information in quickly. I guess in JDE a memo
field is a text media object.

It seems that you can only attach one text media object per form - so that
means one large field for the whole form!!!

Is there a work around? How can I get the standard functionality I would
expect of say MSAccess and have multiple data entry memo fields on the form?

cheers

Will

RE: Forms Development

Hi,

We know that it is possible to attach multiple media objects to a grid - but
the problem for us is that drilling down into a grid everytime a long text
field has to be input is cumbersome and take a lot more time than filling in
a series of text boxes on a form.

Perhaps there is a way of tricking the system - in form design - to think
that a grid is in place - but to place the text boxes directly onto the tab
space? For instance - one form tab per grid line?

Has anyone used OW for bulk text entry and come up with a solution?

cheers

Will

If the form had a grid, you could attach one memo by row.
