CRP Question

Any Capacity Planning geniuses out there?

We are just starting to investigate CRP and have a question. In file F3313,
what is the CRCQT field (Capacity Type). The useage appears to be hard coded in
the programs, with values from 10 to 90. But I am not sure what it means. I
think it might be related to UDC 33/RR, but that table only defines 10 - 50. Am
I on the right track? How would I know what 60 - 90 mean?

TIA.

Phil,

You're on the right track. The code defines the "type" of capacity data, in other words, which row on the display. There are 4 UDC tables that contain this data. In addition to 33/RR, there are RC, MM, and CR, each used for a different Mode of capacity planning. If you look at the other UDCs, you'll see the other definitions.

Thanks, Tim.

While I have your attention, it appears that if I run CRP Generation for one
plant ('C'), then run a second job for another plant ('H'), that the second run
destroys the results of the first run. Has that been your experience? If so,
how can I get set up for Capacity Planning for more than one plant?

JDE Support got me a quick answer on this (imagine that!). ***** Kudos to
Garrett Albrook *****

For anyone who cares, the answer is: When you run the CRP Gen, you need to
specify the B/P both in Processing Option 5 _AND_ in the Selection Parameters.
