Change assistant - Backup checkbox when apply ESUs

Hello there

I never had an issue to rollback ESU to previous state. In fact when I apply ESU I never click the backup checkbox.

1. What is the best practice.
2. Are you guys select the backup option when apply ESU?
3. What it does and where to get the previous state if we have to rollback the ESU? (How to or challenges)
4 How much it take space on deployment server each time we select backup checkbox?

I always check that box. Rarely need to use it, but it's there on the off chance I need to roll back. Even though Oracle NEVER makes a mistake with their code and ESUs, right?
