Oneworld B733.2 NT 4.0 SQL Server 7.0.
Twice over the past week our Enterprise server slowed to a crawl with the
CPU running at 100%. The first time it took a couple of hours then it got
back to normal. The second time I re-booted after having all users log off
and shutting down JDE and SQL services did not work. On the NT TASK MANAGER
I noticed two processes that were running on and off. They were CMD.EXE and
CL.EXE. The CL.EXE is a C++ optimizing compiler but what ever it does , I do
not know. Has anyone an idea where it is coming from?
Thanks,
Crawford Winter
