Update Case Status

Hi, guys!
I work with Case Management. And want change case status from 100 (Open) to 250 (Left Msg).
Status should be changed when I send Email to customer from Solution Adviser.
How I can do it?
 
emailing the solution will never change the status; however, if you change the solution status to SR, provided that the closed status is a valid next status, the system will update the status to 999.
