UBE data sequencing

I have changed the data sequencing on a report in the template and the
version and then run it locally. I have turned debug on and the log shows
the order by clause still using the old data sequencing fields. What am I
doing wrong?

Bryan,
If your specs were not corrupted (that means you already tried your mods ADDING a new version and ran it locally, and it still did not work properly) you may have to look into the ER and verify the data sequence is or isn't modified programatically.
Don't forget to share your results with us, please. Thank you,

Adrian,
Thanks that was it. It was using 'Use Data Sel/Seq from a Section' in the
Initialize section to set the data sequencing from a hidden section.
So tell me, why would you define data sequencing in that section if you are
going to override it using a hidden section? What is the purpose besides
confusion?

The purpose besides confusion might be the business case itself.
I would graciously redirect the question towards the business analyst/developer who actually did it (who knows where he is, on a tropical island, having a glass of Marguerita and wishing us all the best).
If his answer fails to show up, let's ask the JDEList's people; they may have a lot of ideas.
You made me curious, too!

Create a new version.

Bryan,
Sometimes the logic of report or application needs a fix data sequence and when it is overriden then the application will fail.
Typical cases are when you make complex grouping on datas programatically.
I don't know that it was the purpose in your case or wasn't.

I have a different suggestion: create a new version! Again! And then ask Arup if he had read my previous replies.
