Sleeper

Hi,

We have set up sleeper and initially it worked fine. However we've managed
to do something so that now it doesn' t work.

If I type WRKSBS the sleeper subsystem is there with delay message (it says
delay 17:00 even though the processing options for P95901/version ZJDE0001
are set for 18:00). I also see a job in my submitted jobs on hold.

To me this seems as though it should work, but it's not. Any ideas?

I know this may sound silly but have you checked your unatended job setup (G9643) to make sure that there are jobs due to run?

Also if it is saying DLY-17:00:00 then it would sugest it's not using P95901 ZJDE0001. Have you tried G9643/3 to initiate it again?

Presumably you only have one version of P95901 (in JDFOBJ)

Just my thoughts - don't know if there of any use.

Good Luck

Yes, we do have jobs set up, one version of P95901 ZJDE0001 in JDFOBJ and
have tried re-initiating it many times!

Any more ideas?

Suzanne.

Is the job queue single threaded?

Take a look at the processing option for P95901. This is the sleeper control
parameters. The time period you define is when Sleeper goes to delay mode.
If you want sleeper constantly up and running set the time close together.
