Sales Orders & Multiple Ship Confirming

Is there a "batch" Ship Confirm process hiding someplace?? The Ship Confirm process only allows you to call up "individual" orders and confirm them (you can't just poke enter and get "all orders" ready for Ship confirm, which would also be great). Is there a batch process for this or has anyone ever requested such a process?? We have found (via some reports) that the parts guys aren't always Ship Confirming stuff and we find it later when the financial folks bump into it. I was hoping to find something I can run at the end of the day that would "ship confirm" anything waiting in the proper status (as it is now) so things would not be missed.

I believe the Sales Update program P42800 or P49800 will make the Item
Ledger entries for any orders that have not gone through Ship Confirm,
unless you've turned off that update in processing option 14 (15 in P49800).
You would need to create a version to grab your orders that have not been
ship confirmed, as they are probably not normally at a Next Status that
would qualify for End of Day.

It's not hiding, it just doesn't exist. I've worked with clients who have
modified the interactive ship confirm program and made it into a batch
program.

For what it's worth (probably nothing), batch ship confirm is standard in
OneWorld .

Actually, Batch Ship Confirm is worth something.

It enables clients to interface an outside system's ship confirm data into
JDE. For example, my client had a system on their truck which metered out
the bulk product which was delivered. This data was uploaded into JDE and
then batch ship confirm was run.

Another example is if a client wants to have a 'heads-down' ship confirm
form (custom) which allows rapid entry of many orders in a batch, batch
totals, etc. This data can be updated to the F4211 and then batch ship
confirm can be run.
