Greg

We had a similar issue but have central objects on the AS400. A SAR was raised
and this problem is now fixed for us.

If you have access to the Knowledge Garden, check out SAR 4687348 "AS400 Report
Execution". Perhaps there is something in this SAR that will help with your
problem.....

Good luck

Subject: R51200P

We are running Xe on an AS/400 enterprise server with
NT/Oracle deployment server with Central Objects. We
cannot run UBE R512000P on the AS/400. It cannot
access a table in Central Objects. The table contains
the user defined columns for Job Costing. We have
changed OCM to run the job locally on the user
machine, and it works fine. JDE support line is
stumped, can anyone run this on the AS/400 with
central objects on the deployment server?

Thanks.

No. Apps running on the AS/400 cannot read from data on other machines
unless you use JDBNET. Used to be, JDE did not recommend JDBNET. They gave
reasons that I will let them repeat for you.

You can replicate the table from NT to the AS/400 and run the job. If the
table in question contains a blob, this may get more involved.

RE: R51200P

Sounds like a problem for JDE, I just cannot get them
to admit it. I really don't want to get into
replication and so forth. I want them to write the
program so that it works without me paying for
consulting fees, to tell me it doesn't work.

Anyonewith a similar setup that can run this thing.
Thanks for the input so far.
